I enjoyed the story, Friendly Skies, for many reasons. First, the author created a feeling that is very relatable. Exhaustion is something I and I'm sure many others have dealt with, so we can relate to the protagonist. I also like the way the story is told as if it comes from the protagonist's inner dialogue. For example, she recalls a joke told one about pilots, which I thought was very nicely incorporated. I like the way that it is written to show how weak KC feels, and its even better that we don't know why she feels this way until later in the short story. This story made me want to actually think about the theme and why it was probably written, instead of just finishing it and writing this. The story shows the ignorance of people, but more than that how nobody can truly understand the pain of losing somebody they love. I am very impressed by this story.

Kehinde Wiley- Abstract images are repeated over and over to fill the background. Suck in the middle of lines is an image that is very clear. The pictures are bold, straight lines amongst a world of random designs. And the faces are proud and hopeful. Kehinde Wiley does a great job of mixing realism and abstract artwork. The contrast makes the people in the paintings stand out ever more.

1. I like Bansky's pieces because they are risky. They sort of say screw the system and they are humorous in some cases. You can tell his feelings towards war, politics, and just life in general. I like the attitude displayed in his artwork.
2. I believe that graffiti is art. Anything that you have to create by yourself is artwork to me. However, tagging a building isn't legal and can cause a lot of controversy. Therefore, lots of artists chose not to have people know exactly who they are.
3. I think somebody should have the right to put their work in public because of freedom of expression. However, just as we have the freedom to say what we want and protest, there are certain times when people cross the line. I do believe that it is important for people to express the way they feel about certain topics, but when another person gets hurt then it's gone too far.

This photo of the Western Wall in Jerusalem came from http://bookbuilder.cast.org/view_print.php?book=5622. I picked this because I just returned home from Israel, so this is fresh in my mind. I really like the way this photo shows different types of Jewish people praying together. For example, it shows an orthodox man walking, next to a less religious Jew praying. It shows the unity of the Jewish people. I like how big this photo makes the Western Wall look as well. The artist did a great job of conveying the enormity it holds to the Jewish people and culture.
