Blog Post #5

#1: Poem Beginning with A Line: WINNER
I like the repetition of "and how terrific it is" and what this leads to. This poem flows really well and i love the line, "to sleep in distant planets in my mind and cross at night..." This is very thought provoking and appreciative of life. I really enjoy this poem and thought that it was the best out of the ones that I saw.

#2: Preposition:
"Up shying from it's ascent in the face of down," is a really cool line. She plays with words very nicely. This poem evokes emotion because you can feel for the couple that is going to most likely get a divorce.

#3: Those Winter Sundays:
I like this poem because it shows a true appreciation for things that we take for granted every day. I also like the rhythm of this poem and the diction

#4: Some Words Inside of Words:
I like the way the author of this played with words. Some example of this are:
  • Laundry ends by being dry.
  • Uncle too is frequently unclear.
I also like the style and pictures that were used in this poem.
